A Free Flowing RVing Vacation
A relaxing vacation should be a combination of natural living and luxurious accommodations. You want to get in tune with nature and enjoy the tranquility of a park or a camping ground. At the same time, you've "roughed it" enough to know that you can't live without the most important amenities like a comfortable bed, a fast ride, a shower and toilet, and plenty of storage space. This is why many vacationers prefer the RVing vacation. An RVing vacation offers a vacationer freedom to drive anywhere his or her heart desires. The RVer can also save money on hotel stays and still feel at home in their own recreational vehicle. If you have a family then an RVing vacation may be the best way to ensure safety and comfort, while still holding on to the real camping experience that unites families.

Where are some of the best locations for RVing? The best types of RV campgrounds are the ones that let visitors stay free of charge. There are many of these locations scattered throughout the United States, each with different conditions. For example, some RV parks might limit stays to 1-3 days only. Others may charge a minimal fee, less than dollars a day. Some free destinations may not be a park, but rather a property that is friendly to travelers.

There are some pay locations that are also worth noting. Louisiana is a state very friendly to RVers, and is in fact, the first state to pass legislation for RV Friendly signs on state highways. Colorado is another state of interest, particularly the Northshore Resort right along the Colorado River. This resort offers a boat launch and dock, along with fishing activities. Better yet, this location is located nearby the casinos and entertainment of Nevada.

If relaxing Oregon is more your ideal territory, then try RV parks near the Oregon Coast, including Darling's Marina with its lakefront setting, great for fishing and boating. Alaska is a popular spot for RVing; not only can you drive straight from home through Canada and to the state, you can also sample the charms of some tourist-friendly cities. Popular cities and areas include Haines, Valdez, Seward and River View.

Finally, consider an RV vacation in a national park. Most national parks have RV accommodations, and for less money than you would think. Yellowstone National Park is such a location, and the Yellowstone Edge RV Resort gives you the park experience and much more, in the way of modern amenities.

An RVing vacation gives you excitement, outdoor adventure and the freedom that prepackaged vacation plans lack. Take a relaxing drive out to one of these great RV locations.
